Bulimia Nervosa - a psychological disorder characterized by rapid
consumption of a large amount of food in a short period of time, with a sense of lack of control during the episode, and allowing body weight and shape to have an overpowering effect on one`s sense of self-esteem. Two variants of this eating disorder are prevalent: purging and non-purging. In the former, the individual regularly voids the body of the foods consumed by self-induced vomiting, or by the frequent abuse of purging and diuretic drugs. In contrast, in the second type, the person avoids putting on weight through strict dieting, fasting, or a disproportionate amount of physical exercise. This binge eating followed by self-inflicted vomiting, and a sense of depression, guilt, and self-loathing, is frequently linked with anorexia nervosa. Many times there is no noticeable weight loss and the disease may not be recognized as such until the person turns to someone for help.

EPA - look at `Environmental Protection Agency`. Nutrient Density - the measurement of the proportion of nutrients provided (in relationship to the calories contained) in a specific serving of food. Foods are considered to have nutrient density when they are rich in vitamins and minerals but have comparatively few calories. The opposite of nutrient dense is calorie dense, which are foods high in calories with relatively few nutrients.

RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion) - the degree of physical exertion individuals believe they are putting into an activity (including increased heart rate, increased respiration or breathing rate, increased sweating, and muscle fatigue). The Borg scale is a scoring scale that helps people explain how hard they feel they are working by assigning a numeric value from 6 right up to 20. Lower numbers on the scale signify a lower level of effort, and higher numbers signify that the body is working harder.

Lactic acid - a waste product of anaerobic (or high-intensity) exercise that accumulates in muscle tissues and leads to soreness, stiffness, and fatigue.
